Jeita Convent
The Missionary Sisters of the Very Holy Sacrament delivered the Center of Saint Maron constructed within a parish church, by the architect Elia Selwan, in 1999.
The Center includes a technical school, where girls are taught different specializations, that help to satisfy their living needs as well as a clinic that offers free medical services and medicines for patients in the village and the surrounding area. Likewise, religious sisters are responsible for the organization of spiritual, religious and social activities, such as masses, baptisms, weddings and other meetings related to human interests.
